Tony Stewart, Nascar racing champion is the next celebrity to strut the Old Spice Swagger for this new commercial created by Wieden & Kennedy. Tony Stewart was afraid of fast moving escalators as a child apparently. A fan of Stewart I am, but the Old Spice Swagger advert with LL Cool J is the better of the two spots.

I think this is a slam to people who do have real fears of things like esclators. I really thought Tony S. had more sense than to agree to a ad like that.
It's not a slam, it's a bit of fun and i think it's way better than the LL Cool J ad, it has more unpredictability to it.
A fear of escallators really is a hinderance but perhaps seeing Tony S conquering his fear and ending up with two beautiful women (one from Russia apparently) is just what people need to get over their fear. Bravo Tony i say.
