Home improvement giant Lowe's launches a new commercial campaign and tagline "Never Stop Improving." The ad is the work of BBDO and features the music of 23-year-old New Zealander Gin Wigmore, song title "Don't Stop." This spot is a winner all the way around.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of these commercials - they are so annoying I never want to step foot inside of Lowe's again; that singer(singer?!) should be muted.
I have stopped shopping at Lowes. Between this commercial and Jimmie Johnson sponsorship I'm done. As a stockholder I question management's new direction here.
These new Lowes commercials are so bad they come up in casual conversation as such! Annoying and irrelevant to the Lowes market. I have to wonder if positive comments come from people associated with the ad agency.
I must say anonymously that I work at a lowes and this song plays on all the end caps that have the TVs on them throughout the day, and plays over the intercom system every thirty minutes....it is my opinion that whoever set this up does not care about his/her employee's sanity...it is an awful song and whoever doesn't think so well I'm sorry for you
as an employee Ilike the presentation of the commercial, it shows life changes and we are here for those changes. The music is ok but the visual is what i want to see more than the music.
Beautiful commercial. Best I've seen in a while, plus it has a really good positive message.

ReplyDeleteNever Stop Improving a great brand idea that Deutsch pitched to Lowe's 6 years ago. It was a good idea then and still a good idea for Lowe's today.
ReplyDeleteLove love love the song it has a Ericka badu twang to it it's great. Love the new singer.
ReplyDeleteMore contrived affect in female vocals..simply awful..
ReplyDeleteI like the song!!!!
